Mark Ferrell, DVM

Our TeamDr. Mark Ferrell originally hails from Hobart, Oklahoma, having been born there and graduating from Hobart High School. While in Hobart, Dr. Ferrell participated in athletics, band, and in 4-H showing horses. After graduation, he enrolled at Oklahoma State University and earned his Bachelor of Science in Animal Science, a Masters Degree in Animal Science with emphasis in nutrition, and his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. After graduation, Dr. Ferrell spent a year in Cushing, Oklahoma working in a mixed practice.

After that year, he moved to McAlester where he has been since 1989. Dr. Ferrell started Town & Country Veterinary Clinic in 1998. Dr. Ferrell is licensed to practice veterinary medicine in Oklahoma and Colorado. Dr. Ferrell is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Oklahoma Veterinary Medical Association (OVMA) where he served as a district director, legislative committee chairman, and currently serves as the Immmediate Past President.

Dr. Ferrell has been married to his wife Brenda for 25 years and has a son Matthew who is 20 and a daughter Katelyn who is 17. When not working, Dr. Ferrell enjoys working around the farm, riding his Harley, attending OSU football games, boating, and 4-wheeling with his wife and children. At the present time, Dr. Ferrell and his clan have a Yorkie, a Miniature Australian Shepherd, 5 cats, 3 goats, 5 cows, 1 bull, and 1 horse.

Natalie Sparks

Our TeamNatalie Sparks was born in Dallas, TX and graduated from Grapevine High School in 2001. Natalie was an active member of the Mustang marching and concert band, where she played the E-flat contra-bass clarinet. After high school, she moved to Oklahoma to help take care of her grandmother.  Fun time is usually spent at car shows with her fiance Chris Morris or riding horses. She lives on her 100 acre farm with her 15 cats, 2 horses, 2 donkeys, and 3 dogs.  Since starting in 2005 as a kennel assistant she has made her way through the clinic as a veterinary assistant, receptionist, plumber, electrician, handy-girl and is now the office manager.
